This site is devoted to providing information and pictures of this lovely region, where summer lasts from the beginning of May through to the middle of October, and news and pictures from la Citadelle.

There are few good sites with pictures of the Dordogne, unless you are looking for a house to buy. We will build up a description of the whole of the region, starting with our own small corner. We have many scanned photographs of the region and our own estate. We add to these only as we get time, but keep looking. We try to keep news up to date. You will find the index on the next page
